This event has been held for the past 19 years and is considered to be one of the premier events on the social calendar in the country. It attracts a wide cross-section of graduates and has contributed immensely to the funding of scholarships for undergraduate students.

The International Wine and Cheese Festival is the premier fund raising event of the UWIAA (Trinidad and Tobago Chapter). When it was inaugurated in 1993 the Festival was the first such event in the country, making it a key event on the social calendar.
